If you love art and want to discover the place of women in this great History, attend this course on the years 1852-1960, a time when Art as a whole underwent a great mutation, which will benefit women.

To know

Led by Sonia Brunel, lecturer at the Réunion des musées nationaux - Grand Palais and a passionate and experienced art historian, you will approach art in a new way through a female prism.

For a long time, women have been the forgotten ones in artistic creation. However, they have been more numerous than we think to want to impose themselves alongside their male colleagues. They invested little by little various artistic practices to which they brought all their creativity. But not without difficulties! Famous, forgotten or unknown, let's discover these remarkable women!

In the first decades of the 20th century, new mediums appeared such as photography, cinema and other forms of art not governed by strict regulations. These new inventions will largely leave the place to the creative women who will take more in independence in a world of the Art more and more diversified and free.
