"Nature Mortes" by Anne Imhof

Description

Anne Imhof takes possession of the whole Palais de Tokyo for the carte blanche "Natures Mortes". Take advantage of your pass to attend her performances from October 14 to 18 and 21 to 24 from 6 to 10 pm. You will discover his work, as well as those of 30 other artists, including the visual artist and composer Eliza Douglas.

To know

Trained in one of the most prestigious art schools in Germany, and immersed in the city's music and nightlife scene, Anne Imhof has established herself in a decade as a major figure in contemporary art, exhibiting in the most prestigious institutions: MOMA PS1, Tate Modern....

The exhibition "Nature Morte" is the most extensive project carried out by the artist, presenting her work as a painter, draughtsman and sculptor. Still unknown in France, her work is the result of research into the dramaturgy of bodies and sound composition. Within the walls of the Palais de Tokyo, the exhibition merges space and bodies, music and painting... It questions the living and the non-living, shadow and light, past and present, immobility and action, intensity and disenchantment.

Witness the artist's impressive mastery of space during her performances at the Palais de Tokyo.
