Une première édition prometteuse

A promising first edition

Curious people, art lovers and collectors have an appointment on the Avenue des Champs Elysées for the first promising edition of the Moderne Art Fair! Browse through the galleries and discover the different eras, from abstraction to surrealism, thanks to your CultureSecrets invitations.

To know

For its first edition, the Moderne Art Fair revisits the great artistic movements of the 20th and 21st centuries, exhibiting more than 55 galleries installed in ephemeral structures on the Champs Élysées avenue, the Parisian equivalent of Bond Street in London! From Place Clemenceau to the Concorde, browse through the eras from abstraction to surrealism, in a bright and pleasant atmosphere.

It will also be the occasion to discover three exhibitions:

  • On the Fair, a tribute is paid to Alexandre Iolas; this famous Greek art dealer, advisor to the greatest collectors, who was the first to exhibit Warhol, Magritte, Klein and de Saint Phalle,
  • In the house/workshop of Oscar Jespers, the minimalist design series "Ionik", designed by Anthony Guerrée, reveals the sensuality of rocks,
  • At the baudoin lebon gallery a selection of works on paper includes drawings by Jean Dubuffet, prints by Jim Dine and Sol Lewit, and lithographs by Robert Rauschenberg...
