New exhibitions at the Palais de Tokyo

Our favorite of the season "Six continents, or more

Description

CultureSecrets gives you access to the new artistic season of the Palais de Tokyo which promises a journey beyond all borders! Our favorite? The exhibition by Jonathan Jones which dialogues with the southern lands: acclimatization of plants, endemic species, ancestral knowledge of the natives...

To know

The Palais de Tokyo opens its new artistic season "Six continents or more" with six exhibitions that highlight ideas, forms and cultures that are more itinerant than rooted. Our favorite? As a member of the Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi nations of southeastern Australia, the artist explores indigenous practices, relationships, and knowledge in a collaborative art project.

The exhibition begins with the French expedition to Australia commissioned by Napoleon in 1800. The objects collected allow us to approach a complex history linked to colonization.
