To know

In a phantasmagorical world, this Molière straight out of Tim Burton's universe, is more like a tale or a legend, that of the backstage of the Master's last work: Le Malade Imaginaire. Renato Ribeiro brings back the spirit of Molière by using the springs of comedy, farce, sung theater and Commedia dell'arte.
For forty years, the company Le Mystère Bouffe has been mixing artistic forms and addressing all audiences, practicing a popular theater, a commedia dell' arte reinvented. In permanent research, it revisits texts of the classical and contemporary repertory, the archaisms often revealing themselves as elements of modernity.
