Discover in private an exhibition linking the exceptional jewelry of the House of Chaumet and the beauty of nature. This French institution wishes to pay tribute to its main inspiration for the creation of its jewelry, with the help of the Beaux-Arts de Paris.
Nearly 400 works thus offer the public a free stroll through 5,000 years of art and science told through the dialogue between paintings, sculptures, textiles, photographs, furniture and nearly 80 jewelry objects from Chaumet and other houses. This original and ambitious exhibition affirms the beauty of nature and celebrates the timelessness of plants by crossing visions, eras and media, thus inviting us to look at nature through the universal prism of art and beauty. Initiator of the project, Chaumet drew on its vast heritage, one of the most important in the history of jewelry in Europe, to resonate its naturalist identity and its botanist's eye with all the artistic forms that have also looked to the plant.
The Beaux-Arts de Paris and Chaumet have entrusted the curatorship of the exhibition to botanist
