"I've been fighting reality all my life, doctor." Elwood - Jacques Gamblin - is a mild-mannered oddball flanked by an imaginary friend, a six-foot white rabbit he calls Harvey. In the Simmons' home, Elwood's madness disrupts the well-oiled machinery of bourgeois society and its habits. He heads for the asylum, passing through labyrinths of misunderstandings and hilarious twists and turns in a fantastic fresco with sets that fall from the sky or emerge from the wings.
