Maritie and Gilbert Carpentier, do you remember this incredible duo from the 70s television? Their trick was to associate artists to make them sing in duet, with the only ambition that it is the most improbable possible: Julio Iglesias and Dalida, Sheila and Sacha Distel or Barbara and Johnny... So many iconic duets reinterpreted by the artists of Madame Arthur.

This place becomes again today an artistic reference which creates the disorder between the kinds and frees the creation. Opened 75 years ago, the Madame Arthur of the XXIst century revisits with inventiveness every week, from Thursday to Saturday, the French repertoire: from Régine to Stromae through Céline Dion but also Björk or Michael Jackson in French version. All this is embodied by the transvestite creatures of the famous cabaret. A true artistic gesture, where each one proposes a unique character, freeing itself from any convention!
