The 25th edition of Art Paris opens its doors to you Your daily invitations

#ART CultureSecrets invites you to the Art Paris fair which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. This exceptional anniversary edition brings together 134 galleries and 900 artists from 25 different countries at the Grand Palais Éphémère.

Founded in 1999, Art Paris is organized by France Conventions, a French family-owned company, and has become in 25 years the unmissable artistic event of the spring. It is a discovery fair that innovates, breaks new ground and explores modern and contemporary art to the delight of art lovers.

For this new edition, Art Paris has once again chosen two strong themes: commitment with a focus on the French scene and exile. These are topical themes that allow us to see the world in a new light, through diverse and varied perspectives. Indeed, the curators of this international fair have selected about twenty artists who best represent these different themes through their works.

Another specificity of this fair is that exhibitions are scattered all over the place. 16 solo shows and 10 duo shows allow the public to discover or rediscover in depth the work of modern, contemporary or emerging artists. The opportunity for the galleries to orchestrate historical dialogues or between generations in these "duo" shows.

Finally, each year, the fair wishes to highlight emerging talents from around the world through its "Promises" sector. The opportunity for young galleries to present three of their artists. In 2023, nine galleries have been selected, and most of them are international exhibitors.
