Represented by the Armel Soyer gallery, Alix Waline is a multidisciplinary artist. She can design window displays for the Cartier boutique, or create a collection of carpets for the Pinton brand. She even created a spectacular fresco for the new Diptyque boutique on rue Saint-Honoré in Paris...
Alix Waline is always on the lookout for new forms and textures. As she likes to say: the starting point for her work is the exploration of living things and their structure, creating to give life. Her recognisable style is made up of abstract compositions of black dots on a white background. To create her pointillist frescoes, the artist uses black Posca markers of three different diameters. Using these simple tools, Alix Waline creates the illusion of a three-dimensional image on a two-dimensional surface.
