CultureSecrets takes you on a journey of discovery of photography in the heart of the Left Bank. The program is rich and eclectic, reflecting the diversity of photographic practices. Passing by the Académie des Beaux Arts with the exhibition of the very famous Annie Leibovitz and several other renowned galleries, you will be able to question yourself and grasp the contemporary stakes of the image on the occasion of the Month of Photography in Paris.

The Photo Saint-Germain itinerary was born from the desire to give a voice to those who make and think about the photography of yesterday and today. In the course you can discover : The photographer Annie Leibovitz at the Académie des Beaux Arts. Mainly known for her portraits of celebrities, she has photographed the Queen of England, Leonardo Dicaprio, Angelina Jolie and many others... The Arenthon Gallery will share with us the photographs of Picasso in his intimacy taken by his last wife and muse, Jacqueline Picasso. We will discover together the talented duo of photographers Elsa & Johanna at the gallery La Forest Divonne, these two women offer us photographs marked by a real cinematographic aesthetic. Finally, Alain Bublex will take us through his American landscapes with melancholic atmospheres at the Vallois gallery. The photographer depicts the history of the American landscape from the 19th century to the 1970s, with photographs redrawn with a graphic palette.
