François Spricigo celebrates here the contradictory tensions and voices that inhabit us. After all, are we as separate from the world around us as modernity has led us to believe? The psychoanalytical cabinet in which the action takes place soon becomes charged, as the man, embodied by the director, summons those without whom he would have been other: Sister Emmanuelle, the philosophical woodcutter Lorenzo Pellegrini, the incandescent Marcel Moreau, Henri David Thoreau or the dog Hiko.
