Between contemporary art and exceptional furniture, the Gismondi and Darmo galleries invite you to enter the intimate and dreamlike universe of the Aurèce Vettier studio. In a sublime and unique setting on three floors, discover his new exhibition: Circular Ruins. The artist is part of the turning point of the contemporary art scene and gives us a glimpse of the beginnings of a large-scale artistic revolution.
Thirty-three oil paintings are presented to the public. Aurèce Vettier revisits the concept of sacred icons, moving away from traditional symbolic representations. They plunge us into a world where new forms, places and objects still unsuspected are revealed. This series echoes the many common existential questions linked to the perception of the passing of time and the intrinsic contrast of eternity in the face of death, which the artist tries to tame with the help of precursory tools. The innovative creation process is built around the incessant back and forth between real and digital spaces. This one strives to push back the limits of creation in order to exceed the human border of the "comprehensible".
